Way Oils

PURUS^® Way Oils are designed for lubricating the ways of all types of machine tools and other applications where a tacky, high film strength, extreme pressure properties are required. PURUS^® Way Oils are blended from highly refined base oils and have been fortified with select additives and adhesive agents to impart excellent lubricity and extreme pressure properties. A high lubricity character helps to reduce friction and drag that can cause “stick-slip” problems and machine tool carriage chatter. The extreme pressure additives and the high film strength of the PURUS^® Way Oils effectively control wear and galling of system components. This is achieved by exhibiting high film strength while a special tackifier prevents the fluid from draining away from the lubricated surface and minimizes squeeze out on heavily loaded ways.
